First Youtube video

Hello lovely readers!

I hope you are having an amazing December as it's almost Christmas Time!

Today I am bringing again the YouTube topic because as you may know, I have written a blog post wondering whether I should start making videos for YouTube or not.

After watching tones and tones of videos about the right equipment and how to actually film, I decided to go for it!

The video I chose was the common "50 Facts About Me".  I just thought it was a perfect video to start with because I am talking about myself and people can start knowing me more. I have already uploaded my first video on the 16th December and I just wanted to tell you that I am so excited about this new activity that I can't stop talking about it.

I hope you enjoy my video and I will be filming very very soon xx :)

It's christmas in Oxford Street

Hi my lovely readers!

It's that time of the year where I find myself so festive and in that mood where I am always thinking on what to give to people on Christmas day. I actually enjoy more the fact of buying things and wrap them and offer them, than receiving them. I just... don't feel comfortable on making people spending money with me. BUT of course I appreciate it a lot and it makes me feel loved.

On the other day I went down to Oxford Street to check out the stores and plan some ideas for christmas gifts and I thought "oh my god! Look at this marvellous decoration".  I could not just stay there without taking pictures and post them so you can see how beautiful Oxford Street looks like.

Oxford Street is ALWAYS full with people, no matter the time of the year. Go there at this time of the year and go there on a week day it's the same thing! But I love it!

I always go to Oxford Street for shopping because there are more variety shops, and on Christmas time is not an exception. Although, I don't know why but I always find the decoration prettier every year! I mean... who doesn't!

I hope this post made you feel more festive and excited for Christmas!

YouTube videos | Yes or No?

Hi loves!

Since probably last month I have been thinking about YouTube a lot! Literally a lot! I cannot stop watching videos and more based on "How to start a YouTube Channel?" "What equipment to use". Turns out I only have the camera. Which isn't that bad.

Every time I watch videos on YouTube I feel like "Can I do this?", "Am I good enough?" but then I think that there is no such thing as trying and see where that takes me, because otherwise we will never know.

I got my camera in August,  Canon 750D, which is a really good camera but the rest is missing. Tripod, Lights, program to edit, microphone. It's a lot! So, I was thinking to start filming videos without the whole equipment and just start with the camera only and see how is going to be.

I was wondering maybe this week I will give it a go BUT I have been so ill! I have been at home for 3 days now with high temperature, around 38, 39 degrees, an infection on my throat and headaches. So, obviously I couldn't film. Not quite sure if that's a sign or if is just this horrible weather!

There is a lot to think about before starting, so I am so so SO nervous and SO undecided that I cannot pick up my camera, put it on a high place and press record.

Shall I do it?.... Shall I just stick with the blog?

It's Christmas time!

Hello lovely people!

It is finally Christmas Time!! One of my favourite times of the year!
Everything looks so much more cosy and happy, so much colors and blankets around the house...

I finally made my Christmas Tree, which I know I am a little bit late because I normally do at the beginning of November and it's almost December. But is never too late right?

The lights are already exposed on the streets and people are already buying christmas gifts. I understand them, I think the same thing. Let's get everything ready so I don't leave it for the last day and keep rushing into the stores and decide what to buy and for who.

The days are even more and more cold, can't really describe that, it's SO cold! Even with a lot of layers on, it just... IT'S FREEZING GUYS! Especially at around 7 o'clock in the morning when I have to leave to work or to College.

I hope you are already setting up for Christmas. It is not long until December from now on, and Christmas will be here before you even notice.

Get ready for this amazing time of the year!
Set up everything on time and I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas decoration.

What a day...

Hi my lovely readers!

It has been a while, I know.

Today I decided to write about my day because it was just so excited! I felt really good, proud and concretized.

Basically, it all started when I left home. I always take the bus to go to work and by the time I got to the bus stop, my first bus came straight away, the same thing happened when I got to the bus stop to take my second bus. Everything went really well.

After, I went to College, where at the moment, I am doing the Digital Hill Project for 4 hours a week. It was just perfect! Mr. Dee Majek is a music producer and he is really nice and always ready to help us. He gave us the job of promoting and publishing Soul Rockers Day along with his songs. So, basically, after splitting us into groups, each group must do 7 tasks. For example, taking photos and videos of the moments, interviewing the Dj's, promoting the songs on social media, email the at least 100 Dj's that work with Mr. Dee Majek. Overall, that's basically what I have been doing on Wednesday mornings.

I had the opportunity to speak with a DJ, live on radio, (Crackers Radio) David Bishop. He was such a lovely person to chat. You know my english isn't perfect, but I could speak with him with no problems, I was comfortable and confident, I asked him some questions, he answered me back, we did even had a moment where we both laughed, it was really good, I loved the experience!

Then I interviewed the song writer Cleaveland Jones and the DJ Bigger. They were really nice and easy to understand, which I was very pleased for.

After College, me and my friend decided to go to gym! As usual. But it was a little bit different from our routine. When we arrived, the personal trainer came to us and asked us if we would like to do the Name Challenge, which was written on the wall. We both agreed because after all, there was nothing that could be "worse" than our routine.  Turns out... it was!

Name Challenge
A- 20 Burpees
N- 20 Lunges
A- 20 Burpees

O- 40 Squats
L- 20 Plank to Pushup
I- 30 Squat Jumps
V- 2 Minute Wall Sit
E- 1 Minute Wall Sit
I- 30 Squat Jumps
R- 15 Press Ups
A- 20 Burpees

After this HARD challenge, me and my friend did it! We both could put our names on the wall!! I was so proud! Plus, the personal trainer asked us to film us to put us on the Willesden Sport Centre Facebook to promote the Name Challenge!

Guess what I am going to do now! Yes, you are right! I am going to set up a new challenge for you! Use the letter above to complete your first and last name and go for it!!

Good work out!

Music Video | London Town

Hello my lovely readers!

I didn't mention this earlier because it is still not ready and I am not allowed to publish the videos, only images. So, I wanted to wait a little bit longer. BUT I can't! I just thought "I can tell them some of it and then when I am allowed I will tell them the rest" and that's what I am going to do.

On the 27th October I went to Holborn Studios where I was part of a team for a music video called London Town by the artist Da Paul. He was absolutely lovely and very nice to everyone.

Snacks were provided for everyone, there was a space where we could change outfits, very nice people, and I even made friends! It's always good to meet new people :)

Therefore, we filmed the Summer version where I was dancing with the singer alone and I was a little bet nervous because I didn't know what to do and what the lyrics were. But everything went fine, I repeated twice and I manage to catch up with everything. I am very excited to see the final result.

Then, we filmed the Christmas version. I loved it! While the band was singing and playing the instruments, people from the crowd started to join the band one by one until there was a good amount of people around the band, singing and dancing. I did even had "snow" on my hand to throw it and it really felt like Christmas.

Da Paul told me I was absolutely amazing, my dance was excellent and my energy made everyone more happy! "I love you vibe", a friend told me. That made me feel so happy! Then, Da Paul sent me a message thanking me for the amazing job and that I could access the images of that day. Da Paul then sent an email to some staff from my College, including me, and today when I arrived, a staff member from my College told me that he saw some pictures of the music video day and he wanted to know more about it so he could publish it on College's website. I was very happy and I still am! I don't think I can contain myself!

The final video will be on YouTube VEVO on the 5th December and I will be posting about that, so I hope you are as excited as I am to see the final result!!

Love you all! xx

9 things that make me smile

1. See people falling. Yup! I am so sorry if that was you and I saw your fall but I definitely laughed! I can't avoid it, it is just... the most hilarious thing for me. An example, when I fall I don't stand up straight away, I would be sitting there and laughing, then I will stand up and move on. Another example, my boyfriend fell in my stairs and I was there, I couldn't stop laughing, I was even crying, then I went look after him. (but still laughing)

2. Dogs. Oh my god I love these cute creatures. They are the cutest thing ever! I fancy more when they are babies and can't barely move straight but when they grow up I am still their fan number 1. When I move to my own house I want to have a dog. A Labrador. A cute, beige Labrador. Can't wait!

3. Shopping. I can promise you that if I am sad or bored and I am going shopping I will change dramatically. I don't know why but having the sensation of obtaining new clothes is just... The Thing!

4. Dancing. My passion! I cannot leave without it. But, to be honest, I miss it a little bit. I wish I could do more and be part of a group, go to shows, live that life where is all about music and dancing and comfortable clothes and big bags with lots of things for the day... Basically, this is how it used to be when I was in Portugal.

5. See my parents running away from each other. They are just marvellous. Relationship goals. Since I was little I wanted to have a man with me that looked like my father. They inspire me a lot, they respect each other, they have fun together, they don't need nobody else. They are happy and I love the family I have, couldn't ask for better.

6. My boyfriend. If you want to know what I like the most in a man, apart from physical, is essentially the sense of humour. How can somebody be with someone that don't know how to have fun? I definitely can't! And yes, my boyfriend is hilarious. He makes me laugh a lot, about everything! I love him.

7. YouTube videos. I can probably say that I laugh out loud when I am watching videos. Specially Joe Sugg, Casper Lee, and Zoella. They are amazing, check them out.

8. The sun. Wooo, boring... I know, but trust me, if you live in the UK you know what I am talking about. When the winter comes I promise you, you will wish for a little bit of sun. I didn't care much about it when I was in Portugal because the sun is there most of the times, but in here... We can be without sun for like a week in a row. How bizarre is that?

9. A good hair day. Where on earth can you find a woman that does not like this? You can't! I am kind of addicted to hair products because I am constantly looking for the best one to leave my hair super soft and shiny. I spend at least 2 hours with my hair when I wash it and I don't regret it because it looks gorgeous all the time, and when it doesn't, a hat fixes. (laughs)
